Creative people at all stages of development\, both casual and professional\, are welcome but this gathering is especially for beginners\, people who are self-taught\, and/or those who simply enjoy making art and think a monthly social gathering will help them make time each month for art! \n  \nTogether\, let’s create  a safe space for people of all abilities and interests to make art in the company of other creative people. \n  \nThis event is free! Registration required \nWe will each be making our own collages similar to the one pictured – every person’s art will be unique and wonderful. No experience required! \nAll workshops meet for one evening in West Seattle\, from 5:30-7:15pm\, at C&P Coffee\, 5612 SW California Ave. Street parking.\n– all materials provided\, although you are welcome to bring your own scissors and/or magazines if you have some you like.\n– coffee\, soft drinks\, beer\, and wine available for purchase at the venue\n– limited number of participants for individual attention\n– taught by Linda McClamrock\, local collage artist\n– this particular workshop will start with a blank wood panel. Participants will focus on creating pleasing color and pattern combinations\, and adding words if desired.
