PoetryBridge

November 8, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

We are a community of poets, storytellers and fans of the spoken word.

Our mission is to promote the best of poetry and storytelling in West Seattle. Not best as in better than, but best as in authentic self-expression, in person, here and now. Best* that in the telling demonstrates diverse forms of bravery, expressiveness, sincerity and truthfulness

We are featuring three poets, live and in-person, at C&P Coffee in West Seattle, on Wednesday, November 8th, from 7-9 (PST), Mirian Bassuk, Yvonne Higgins Leach and Laura C Lippman. See my update on covid considerations below. I plan to once again stream the reading live on YouTube and record it for viewing later. The YouTube link will be sent out separately.

Miriam Bassuk:Though originally from the east coast, Miriam treasures her life in the Northwest. She was one of the featured poets in the digital portion of the WA 129 project sponsored by the Washington State poet laureate.
