West Seattle Classic Novels (and Movies) book club

Title to discuss: The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro.

Location: an outdoor table behind C & P Coffee on California Ave SW.

P.S. The Remains of the Day is also a 1993 film directed by James Ivory; it stars Anthony Hopkins as James Stevens and Emma Thompson as Miss Kenton. It would be great to compare the novel with the film, if people have time to watch it (optional!).
