That’s What Neighbors Do!

Well the world has shifted since my last post, but one thing stays the same…community.  We are so fortunate to live in such a supportive, creative and progressive part of the world. We all understand the importance of inclusion, kindness, acceptance and supporting each other through the good and the bad times.  That’s what neighbors do!

C & P is proud to support many local organizations and hope that you will join us, either with financial contributions (accepted at the coffee shop) or by volunteering your time.  We welcome new opportunities to be involved, so keep us posted on organizations or events that are important to you.

WestSide Baby is the only social service agency in the West King County area that collects, inspects and distributes free diapers, clothing, cribs and safety gear for babies and children.
West Seattle Food Bank is committed to providing food security and community connections to our neighbors in need.  We envision a strong and connected community in which all people have access to safe and nutritious food and the essential necessities of living.

The West Seattle Helpline is a nonprofit social service agency offering emergency assistance for our West Seattle neighbors.  Our mission is to empower our neighbors to regain their self-sufficiency after facing an emergency or unexpected hardship.  We fulfill our mission by providing information, referrals, clothing, bus tickets, and rent and utility assistance to help low-income families in need.  We strive to strengthen our community through our philosophy of “neighbors helping neighbors.”
